The VIP car park is located on the Sibberweg on both days. From here, shuttle buses run to the Cauberg.

To ensure that the organization runs smoothly, the road on the Cauberg will only be available from one direction, from the Grendelplein towards Berg en Terblijt. You can detour via the Daalhemmerweg. This measure applies from Friday, February 2 at 8 am to Monday, February 5 at about noon. In addition to this, on the two event days, 3 and 4 February, the Cauberg will be completely closed to traffic between 06.00 and 19.00. Local authorities and officials of the event can use the Cauberg at all times. For residents in the closed area we provide a permit for the car.
On the Sibberweg the entrance to the VIP car park is situated. The shuttle buses with visitors will also stop here. As a result, the situation has changed on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 February from 6.00 am to 8.00 pm. The Sibberweg can be reached from Valkenburg via the Grendelplein and the Daalhemmerweg. From Maastricht, part of the Rijksweg is one-way traffic from the direction of the Cauberg. Traffic is diverted from the Kleine Heideweg. From the Sibberweg the road in the direction of Maastricht is open.
Given the large number of visitors expected, the organization has opted for the use of shuttle buses to take the visitors to Valkenburg aan de Geul. This is also the case from the business park Aan de Fremme in Margraten. Parking here is free and so is the transport to the Cauberg by shuttle bus. The shuttle buses run from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm on both days from the business park Aan de Fremme via the Prinses Amalialaan, Heiligerweg, Eijkerstraat, Eijkerweg to Kenkersweg to Valkenburg aan de Geul and return.
From Friday afternoon until Monday morning, the Princess Amalialaan is, exceptionally, open for the shuttle buses. Traffic controllers are active on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am to 8 pm to ensure the safety.
The Hekerweg is only available in one direction from Sunday 4 February 6 am until Sunday 4 February 10 pm. The Hekerweg is used by the visitors of the Worldchampionships to park, but residents and visitors of companies and the houses on site are allowed passage.
